As we are celebrating the 10 Years of Establishment of our University, It’s a
moment of celebration for all who believes in ideology of the University and
have been a part of the University through all these years. We want to involve
everyone in our celebration including all our students, faculties, Staff members, Parents, Alumni and the local
community associated with us.
Ten years ago, When JVWU was
established amidst rural surrounding
with its Mission "Education
For Community Development Leading to Women Empowerment" It carried the
endless expectations of our associated
Parents, Students and the community who had faith in us and also
had been the subject of skepticism from many stakeholders due to its rare ideology to prepare
identified safe, secure, non-addicted and disciplined environment for
the students.
Looking back on our growth, With the support of stakeholders, JVWU has achieved astonishing growth. Starting with Two Faculties i.e, Faculty of Engineering
& Technology and Faculty of Arts & Humanities, today University has reached at many miles stone with
successful development of 8 Faculties
& 2 Directorate i.e, Directorate of Distance Education & Directorate of
Research & Development that offers almost all disciplines under a Single
Roof like Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Yoga
& Naturopathy, Physiotherapy, Medical Lab Technology, Optometry, Radiation
Technology, Pharmacy, Arts & Humanities, Education, Journalism, Food &
Bio-Technology, Law, Engineering, Science, Commerce, Management and
Poly technique Diploma Education. University is planning to start modern
medicine programs like MBBS, BDS and Veterinary Science so that it becomes
Asia’s first State Private Women’s
University to provide all the disciplines under single roof. There have already
been seven rounds of bachelors graduates & masters with no. of awardees through Research and Distance education . Our

It is quite a difficult task for anyone to establish the university with 8 faculties and 2 directors and also manage them so profoundly . And i found this university much better than the other one's where the size of university is much more important than the studies or knowledge for the students but in this university size is not the factor it focuses on teaching students good things.
In my diploma i think i seek so much knowledge from the teachers and learn how to be independent.
and because phone is restricted here its a good thing because we will engaged with machines all the time this university is realizing us that human to human interaction is much more important than everything else.

First of all i want to congratulate all the jvns for completing the glorious and successive 10 years of this university. We all live here like a family which is called as jvn family. All the faculties of this university are well qualified and specialised and they are co- operative and supportive to all the students and other staff members. Banning of mobile phones is very helpful for us because due to it we can concentrate only on studies. Jayoti vidhyapeeth is the 1st women's university where mobile phone is not allowed in the campus....without mobile such a wonderful environment created here. I choose JVWU because i was looking for a university that has both a strong teaching programme and opportunities to develop practical skills also. The most important thing to me are regular easy access to facilities of getting support for academic staff. The library is open 24/7 during term time and is so useful.there are several different types of learning areas, silent studies, group, group study rooms. I am pretty happy here. it took some time to adjust but you need that everywhere. The people here are quiet friendly and supportives the system aims to aid the student as best as possible. Hostels are well furnished and excellent facilities are provided by the jayoti vidhyapeeth women's university and we get very nice meals here from time to time.

Only women's university which has female staffs and workers for their empowerment. it provides an eco-friendly environment for fresh air and mental peace.
Students get instant solution to their problems with excellent residential facilities within the campus. Chancellor ma'am and Advisor sir are themselves available for the students if any problem occurs just as in a family we have our guardians. I'm so obliged to be a part of this university.
