Dr. Panckaj Garg Founder & Advisor of Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University, Jaipur is awarded with the “Edupreneurs Awards 2013” This award was established to introduce Entrepreneurship in quality technical education in the country. Dr.Shashi Tharoor, Hon’ble Minister of state for Human Resource Development on 15th Feb. 2013 presented the award in a grand function organized in Russian Centre of Science & Culture, New Delhi. Various eminent educationists and dignitaries were present in the function.

Dr. Garg previously announced “YOUNGEST FOUNDER OF A UNIVERSITY” by ‘India Book of Records’ also. At present various technical courses such as - Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, Journalism, Management, Architecture, Physiotherapy etc. are being run in the University, which are very popular among the students. Though the university is country’s first private state university, exclusively for the girls, it is running various programs for both and women through distance mode also. All the technical programs of the university are not only geared up with approval of appropriate authorities of the nation, a quality is being maintained in running these, especially in the field of women education.

Dr. Garg has been recognized by the Jury for this prestigious award for his contribution in the field of transforming technical education in India in a very short span of time. The Jury was comprise of Vice Chancellors of Rajasthan Technical University, Delhi Technical University & Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Gautam Buddha Technical Universities, Joint Secretary, Ministry Heavy of Industries, Executive Director, Sector Skill Council  NASSCOM, DDG (NIC), Ministry of communication and IT and other officials including  Member of Parliament Shri Sushil Singh. A Delhi based magazine ‘Relationship Engineering Watch’ considered these nominations from leading institutions of the country for this award.
